‘A blog? What’s that?’
‘No, idea but I think I’m supposed to be doing it!’
So I’ve a rack of amazing weddings this year to blog and every one of them is different. Characters, craic agus ceoil!
First up is Eileen and Philips day at Summerhill House Wicklow. These guys had a vision for their wedding photographs….a Sugarloaf vision and we got it, better than I could have imagined myself. We threw Eileen down a wall, just joking, Philip caught her like a good husband and into the fields they went. The light, the backdrop and the personality of these too make it one of my favourite ‘best craic’ wedding photographs ever. The more you let go and be yourselves and realise these photographs are of you for you, the better the image will be.
The weather was unreal, so much so that I totally trusted it all day and when I took everyone, like EVERYONE outside for family photographs the heavens absolutely opened up and we all made a mad dash inside…you won’t see those photographs here though!!!
Many thanks to my comrade Richard of Big Day Films who is always a pleasure to work with. To hair by Danielle Whelan and make up by Sarah McGuinness at Studio 89. The Gúna “Lena” from designer Enzoani and fab flowers by The Green Room Roundwood and of course, Summerhill House, Go team!!
Most of all a huge thanks to Eileen and Philip for allowing me to share just a fraction of the images I loved from their day with you.
